What are the requirements of a Dance Company Member?
The Company dancer needs the following:
- Solid knowledge of Ballet
- Can execute proper Ballet technique easily
- Can learn dances quickly
- Understands dance language
- Passionate about all aspects of dance
- Good attendance
- Role model
- Helpful to other company dancers & teachers
- Have a sense of maturity
- Good behavior in ALL classes
- Very technique driven
- Can handle last minute changes to choreo
- Helpful to know other dance styles
- Creative
- Do well under pressure
- Good memory for dances
- Cannot be shy or suffer from stage fright
- Can pick up other dance styles seamlessly
Dancers are observed in all of their dance classes, especially ballet, from September thru recital to be recommended for company
Dancers join company at any stage
of their dance life
i.e joining at age 10, 12, or even 14
Sorry, we are not inviting any new students into
company for the 2025-26 dance year.
We are only keeping the current members.
If your child is interested in company, they need to understand the requirements listed.
FYI, students are invited into company after the recital.
